PMC Performance Horses offers the most diverse lesson program in Northern Ontario. We start children as early as 6 years of age and can help youth and adults fulfill his/her equine dreams.
We pride ourselves in having a group of great minded school horses, most of whom have been home raised and specifically trained to make the most ideal and well-rounded school horses. Our horses are very safe, are used in our riding program in the English and Western disciplines as well as in our EAL programs.
These horses are quiet enough for beginner riders, people with confidence or trust issues and can also perform extremely well in the show pen. They have ‘been there, done that’ and are used to being handled by many different people of all ages and will boost anyone’s confidence. These horses lay the foundations every rider should experience before making the step to owning his/her own horse.
Having a background in the Trillium Hunter Jumpers circuit, the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) circuit, and the Ontario Barrel Racing Association (OBRA) circuit, we definitely have a very knowledgable team on board to help coach a rider, train a horse and guide our clients in the right direction to suit their greatest goals. We enjoy every minute of helping people succeed with their equestrian dreams.
You don’t have to show horses to take lessons in our program. We often work with people who would just like to ride for fun or build confidence. We welcome ship-ins, providing your equine partner is up to date on all vaccinations and de-worming rotations. We also require proof of OE memberships upon arrival.
Our facility offers local level showing at our farm for anyone wishing to get in extra practice or anyone wanting to get their feet wet in the show pen. We encourage our clients to chase dreams, make big goals, but most importantly have an enjoyable time while learning. Our groups mainly participate in the AQHA shows in Southern Ontario where they offer a large variety of classes for all types of Quarter Horses. Most clients participating in theses shows have their own horse, but we often have leasing options. Please feel free to inquire about these opportunities.
Our facility offers English Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation and Hunter Over Fences lessons.
We also specialize in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Showmanship and Trail lessons.
We can prepare any horse and rider combination for local or out of town show experiences in a fun filled and enjoyable atmosphere.
We have a safe beginner program available for anyone wanting to ride a school horse or use his/her own horse. Our team is skilled at laying a proper foundation for any rider of any age.
